Mandy Huynh is an Optometrist who graduated from the University of New South Wales with a double degree in a Master of Clinical Optometry and a Bachelor of Vision Science. She is a therapeutically qualified ophthalmic medicines prescriber.
Mandy’s clinical interests are in myopia control, paediatrics, dry eye therapy and the management of complex eye diseases.
“Optometry is a career that empowers me to help people. I am a people person who enjoys working with people from all backgrounds and different life experiences. I am honoured to be able to positively provide care and value to the community’s eye health.”
In her most recent clinical posting at the Omni Eye Services Clinic in Georgia USA, she worked alongside ophthalmologists managing ocular diseases. During this time, she has conducted research exploring ocular inflammation in contact lenses in children and adults.
In her spare time, you can find her tending to her plants, reading and bouldering.
